Primate (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates a student printing platform that lets users upload files to partner print shops. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This page describes what we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
1) Information We Collect
- Google Account Information: We use your Google Sign-In profile (name, email address, and profile image) only for secure authentication.
- Upload Data: Files you upload are stored temporarily in highly secure cloud infrastructure solely for printing.
- Usage Data: Lightweight analytics (e.g., page views, device/browser info) to improve reliability and performance.
2) How We Use Your Data
- Authenticate you with Google Sign-In.
- Store and deliver uploaded files to the relevant print shop.
- Maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve the service.
3) Data Retention
Uploaded files are automatically deleted within 48 hours of upload. For recovery and operational safety, certain files may be retained for up to 48 hours in secure backup systems before permanent deletion. If you need to recover a deleted file within this time frame, please contact our support team at support@primate.org.in.
Account and analytics data are retained only as long as needed to operate the platform.
4) Data Security
Your data is hosted on Google Cloud Firebase, which provides industry-standard encryption and security. We do not sell, rent, or trade your data.
5) Third-Party Services
We use Google Sign-In and Firebase (Hosting, Firestore, and Storage). These services are governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.
6) Your Rights
You can request deletion of your personal data or uploaded files at any time by emailing support@primate.org.in.
7) Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
